I am so grateful to be a part of the Yogave’ community both as a student and a teacher. I have been practicing yoga since 2003 and completed my teacher training at Frog Lotus Yoga in 2008. I enjoy practicing and teaching high energy vinyasa flow, combining a lighthearted playfulness and music in my classes. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to live in several areas of the country as a travel nurse. Throughout my travels, I have been exposed to many incredible teachers and styles of yoga. I am happy to call Maine home now, and I look forward to continuing on my yogic path while staying within one community.
When I am not on my yoga mat, I am working at the hospital as a pediatric nurse. I have a particular interest in holistic nursing, nutrition, and integrative medicine. I also love to hike, snowshoe, read, travel, and cook vegetarian meals.
A special note: As of January 2011, I will be donating all of the money I receive from teaching at Yogave’ to UNICEF!!! Please check out www.unicef.org for more information about this awesome charity. If you come to any of my classes, be aware that you will be helping to improve the lives of children across the globe. Yay for karma yoga!
