Heather Lahti
Heather aka Navneet Kaur has been studying various forms of yoga for the past 10 years including Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. Heather’s has also studied various spiritual traditions for many years. This spiritual path ultimately led her to experience Kundalini yoga. Touched by the sacredness of the practice, Heather completed her 200- hour certification in a Sikh Ashram located in Millis, MA in June of 2008. Heather has also studied with Kundalini yoga teachers, Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Gurmukh, and Hari Kirin Kaur. Heather practices a disciplined daily yoga practice consistent with the Sikh tradition. This practice combines asana with prayer and meditation. Through this practice she has experienced both the steadiness and grace that Sadhana provides.
Heather is a clinical social work who has worked with children and families for many years. She is also a fiber artist. Her current interest is in combining yoga with art in a way that elevates community consciousness.
Heather’s yoga classes focus on nurturing support, elevating the spirit and increasing awareness of the sacred tenderness of each moment. Heather offers heartfelt appreciation for this opportunity to teach Kundalini yoga to the students of the Yoga Exchange.
