Lydia Lobozzo

Lydia received her yoga teacher certification from CorePowerYoga in Denver, Colorado in the fall of 2009. She strives to teach a Vinyasa style of yoga that is enjoyable and challenging for all yogis.  Lydia attended her first yoga class on January 1st of 2008, and it became an instant passion, setting her on a course of new health and exploration.  Lydia sees yoga as a way to find confidence and calm that reaches beyond the mat and can give us all a little extra momentum and lightness of living.  She wants to give this gift away to any and everyone! Her classes are meant to build integral strength and ease in our bodies and minds. Lydia is drawn to vinyasa yoga for its creative movement and fluidity, as well as its emphasis on breath. Her students are encouraged to bring their unique hearts and bodies to their yoga mats. Yoga is about finding connection between our bodies, minds, and spirits, thus helping us to feel our union with the world and God around us.

Lydia is a Maine girl.  She graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 2006.  Her degree is in education for marginalized and minority groups, and she has a passion for making health and knowledge accessible to all people, regardless of where their life journey has led them. She spent 2004 and 2007 living and working in Granada, Spain.  Lydia is an aspiring artist and is so excited about the combined healing and creativity that can be found through yoga.
